Observer notes

Because of the time difference I’m making this as a separate observation, but I’m pretty sure this is the inhabitant of the lodge I posted from an hour earlier. There is another beaver that lives along the coast and I saw them come within maybe 20’ of one another, didn’t notice any aggression. Too far away to tell which was which. At first this beaver spooked very easily, diving whenever I moved, but after a while it got comfortable with me fishing nearby, got this shot when it was maybe 15’ away. Nearly ran into my line twice, would be gone for a while then just emerge out of nowhere. Moved after that happened, but the beaver would still come by fairly close. From the trash that’s been left nearby, I assume it’s pretty used to humans.
